Auveen Byrne, B.A., DIP. T.P., M.I.P.I., has a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Geography and Archaeology. With a Postgraduate Degree, she qualified as a Town and Country Planner in 1978. She is a founder member of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI).
Auveen commenced her career as a planner in the local authorities of Cork County Council and Dublin City Council. She then gained private sector experience, working directly with a property development company.
She established the practice of Auveen Byrne and Associates in 1983. Since then, she has represented clients in all economic sectors, throughout the country. Auveen Byrne and Associates has for many years been recognised as one of the leading town planning practices in the country.
Breadth and depth of experience over more than 30 years enables Auveen to overview the strategic direction of a planning project. Quality technical input and the personal attention of the principal have always been hallmarks of Auveen Byrne and Associate.
Emma Lyons, Cert RP, joined Auveen Byrne and Associates in 2009 as Office Manager. Prior to this, she worked and qualified as a Recruitment Consultant, both in Ireland and in Jersey, Channel Islands. She also worked and studied in financial institutions in Jersey, where she qualified in investment banking.
Through her qualifications and employment experience, Emma has become an accomplished Office Manager. She understands the deadline-driven nature of work at Auveen Byrne and Associates and ensures that all systems are up to date and running smoothly. She gives courteous, capable and prompt attention to client queries and requirements.
